Join my friend JJ and I as we make the long climb up to the High Altitude Basecamp situated between the Muir Snowfield and the Cowlitz Glacier.  Camp Muir is at an elevation of 10,188 feet and is the last stop for those ascending to summit at 14,411 feet.

Known as one of the world’s most dangerous volcanoes, Mount Rainier is the most topographically prominent mountain in the contiguous United States.
